Opening Times

Baytree Owl & Raptor Centre is open 6 days a week, Tuesday - Sunday.

 

We are also open Mondays on Bank Holidays and during school holidays.

 

Our doors are open annually for a majority of the year between the 2nd of January and the 24th December.

 

We are closed from 25th December through to 1st January (inclusive) for maintenance, as well as on Easter Sunday. Note that other seasonal closures may apply (please see below.)

We are Closed December 25th until January 1st (inclusive), as well as Easter Sunday and Mondays during term time.

We also reserve the right to close without prior notice due to unforseen circumstances, including extreme weather conditions. Any such closures will be communicated through our social media channels.

We guarantee our best admission prices when booking online. Purchase your tickets ahead of your visit and save up to 7.5% when compared to paying at the gate!

Adult (16+): £6.55 (£5.95)

Child (3-15): £4.65 (£4.20)

Concession: £5.55 (£4.95)

Family: £19.65 (£17.85)

Under 3s (0-2): FREE

Price without 10% voluntary donation shown in brackets. Concession price applies to Senior Citizens (60+), Students (16 - 23) and Carers (16+). ​Family tickets applies to 2 Adults (16+) and 2 Children (3-15).

We are only able to continue our important work with the generous support of our visitors and the public.

If you are a UK taxpayer, purchasing your admission online with donation allows the entire amount of your admission to be eligible for Gift Aid.

 

We can claim an additional 25p for every £1 made in eligible Gift Aid bookings back from the government...

...at no cost to you.

For your admission to be eligible for Gift Aid, you must be a UK Taxpayer and purchase tickets which include a voluntary donation of at least 10%. † If you pay less Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax in the current tax year than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all of your donations, it is your responsibility to pay any difference.

Buy your admission tickets online and save up to 7.5% when compared to paying at the gate. You can still purchase tickets online even on the same day of your visit (subject to availability.)

Admission terms and exclusions

All children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult (aged 16+).

Family Ticket discount valid on eligible purchases containing two adult (16+) and two child (3-15) admissions only and may not be used in conjunction with any other offer or promotion.

To qualify for student discount, a valid form of ID must be shown (e.g. NUS/TOTUM card).

 

Carers will be admitted at the Concession rate with a paying dependent, subject to the provision of valid carer's ID (e.g. Access Card, NHS ID).

To qualify for same day re-admission, your original receipt must be retained. Valid on date purchased only.

We'll deduct the value* of your day's admission from any Annual Pass purchase, if buying in person on the day of your visit. Simply ask at the admissions desk before you go!

*Value based on qualifying admissions only (e.g, one Adult admission off an Adult Annual Pass). Receipt required for proof of purchase. Strictly one discount per receipt. Offer valid on date of admission only.

Terms and exclusions

 

All annual passes are valid for one year from the date of issue, until the expiry date shown on reverse of ticket. Each pass may be redeemed once per visit against the respective voucher entitlement. All children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult (aged 16+). For the purposes of this pass, an "Adult" refers to persons aged 16 or over; a "Child" refers to persons aged 3-15. Under 3s free irrespective of ticket(s) used. Once purchased, passes are non-refundable, non-transferrable and have no cash value. Photocopies not accepted.
